ENERGY SAVINGS

with ESRA Facility Management & Consulting

Robert Rogers wants to save you money. As the President and Owner of ESRA Facility Management & Consulting, Robert has seen a lot of families, churches, and schools save anywhere from 5 to 25 percent on their energy bill by implementing the upgrades he identified in his energy assessments. After serving active duty in the military for nearly 25 years, Robert continued his service as an engineer and building maintenance supervisor. When that opportunity ended, Robert knew he wanted to stay in North Carolina, and picked a career that would bring all of his experience together. Now in its 8th year, ESRA Facility Management and Consulting continues to save his customers money. Robert notes his passion for his work stems from the gratification he receives from homeowners.

HOW ROBERT'S ENERGY ASSESSMENTS WORK

During an energy assessment, Robert examines the whole house or building to make sure all of the components are working properly together and then develops an energy forecast. Robert notes that homes tend to lose the most energy at the top, through the roof and attic. The first thing Robert looks for is the insulation and air boundary in the attic. He then checks the crawl space, the basement, and the foundation to make sure that it has the same air and thermal boundary. Finally, Robert examines the heating ventilation and air condition system to make sure they are as efficient as possible. After completing the assessment, Robert analyzes his findings and creates an individualized plan of action to help the home or business owners implement energy efficient improvements and save money.
